The beads provide non-slip protection (R10 according to DIN 16165) and are still pleasant on the feet, both barefoot and on socks - no sandpaper feeling! The material, which is only about 0.25 mm thin, is only noticeable on closer inspection, so that the aesthetics of your stairs are maintained and the risk of tripping is reduced to a minimum compared to conventional step carpets.
